Registration + Call for Proposals Open: 2025 Annual Convening
November 8–9, 2025 | Los Angeles, California
Rooted in Care, Rising in Joy
We’re headed West—and you’re invited.
Arts Administrators of Color Network (AAC) is thrilled to bring our Annual Convening to the West Coast for the very first time! Join us in Los Angeles for a two-day experience designed by and for BIPOC and global majority artists and arts administrators.
This year’s gathering—co-hosted with Creative West’s Leaders of Color Program—will take place across two iconic venues: the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, with additional programming throughout the city. We are proud to collaborate with Blackbird Collective PBC to bring this experience to life.
The 2025 theme, Rooted in Care, Rising in Joy, celebrates creativity as resistance, community as healing, and gathering as a powerful act of love.

Call for Proposals Now Open!
We’re accepting breakout session proposals for Sunday, November 9, and we want your bold, joyful, community-rooted ideas.
This is not your typical conference. We’re seeking interactive sessions that center care, creativity, healing, and collective connection—whether through art-making, movement, storytelling, or dialogue. Sessions will be held in a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces and may not include A/V support—so lo-fi, high-impact ideas are especially encouraged.
Deadline: July 30 at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET
