2025 Annual Convening Speakers

Rosy Cortez is a community-based muralist, fine artist, and Lead Painter on The Great Wall of Los Angeles. She has led numerous community public art projects throughout the Inland Empire, including the first community-driven murals in Moreno Valley and Bloomington, CA. Rosy Cortez’s paintings and large-scale murals are deeply rooted in Chicano culture and storytelling. She views art as both resistance and healing, using creativity as a catalyst to empower her community.
