Josiah Bruny
Josiah Bruny is a visionary cultural strategist, community organizer, and creative force with nearly three decades of experience advancing racial equity through the arts. As Founder and CEO of Music Changing Lives, Josiah has pioneered programs that merge creativity, civic engagement, and social entrepreneurship, uplifting youth and underserved communities across California. From the Know Justice, Know Peace Mural Tour to the Uptown San Bernardino Urban Garden and the State of the Youth Conference, Josiah’s work reflects a deep commitment to collective liberation and generational healing. He currently serves as Vice President of California Arts Advocates and President of the Board, ensuring artists of color have a seat at every table. His lived experience as a justice-impacted youth fuels his passion for dismantling systemic oppression and building sustainable futures rooted in love, leadership, and legacy.
